The Elephant of Love,
Descending from above,
Bestows his loving feelings
To further his own dealings.

He finds a lonely male
Of complexion sad and pale,
Then promises a date
And, potentially, a mate.

So what has this man to lose
When all he has to do is choose
A girl for whom he longs
(The sort they sing about in songs)?

Before this lovely girl, appears
This fairy with gigantic ears,
Offering a plate of cakes
Which, unerringly, she gladly takes.

From the first piece that she's bitten
She instantly is smitten
With that man who'd made a pact
To fulfil that which he'd lacked.

Then this elephantine tout
Notes when the couple will be out,
And quiet as a mouse,
He ransacks the man's house.
